How it started
It started with a pot of chai

I grew up in northern Wisconsin, where the nearest metropolitan area was around 2 hours away. Connecting with neighbors, strangers and anyone who needed someone to talk to is where my passion to make people feel known and connected came from. I moved to the greater Milwaukee area for my business degree.
During the first days of the pandemic, I made chai for my girlfriend (now wife) and her roommates, then invited the downstairs residents and anyone else who was free to share a cup. We took the chai from those get-togethers to our city on a mobile coffee bike. What started as just a few Saturdays a month grew into a community of coffee and tea fanatics.
Today we roast fresh every week in West Allis, pour at our cafe on Greenfield Ave, and still bring the bike to markets and events.
Each cup of coffee is much more than a cup, it's sharing life with your neighbor.
